Amazing mailday :)

Hello everyone!

It was the last mailday this week, before Midsummer. I was expecting to get something but not all of these!

First, I bought two Little House Needleworks-patterns from a Facebook group where people can sell their unwanted stitching stuff (Finnish group). I got them today and whooo, I really love them both! They are "Bookshelf" and "Little House Neighborhood". I need to buy some nice coloured fabric though (or dye myself!) as I don't seem to have anything that would work with these. Or maybe my "bone" Jobelan could work.. Hmm..

I also got my order from Needlecraft Corner. Again some Little House Needleworks-patterns as well as three patterns by Country Cottage Needleworks and Lizzie Kate. LHN patterns are "Music and books" and "Home of a Needleworker". CCN patterns are: "Party Cakes", "Bee Joyful" and "Sheep in the meadonw". Lizzie Kate patterns are "Live Simply", "A bit of March" and "Welcome baby".

I also got my FOM from Sparklies yesterday. Here's a pic of the two fabrics that I got. The blue one is "Before the storm" and the light grey is "BST". I am not huge fan of the light grey one though.. It's kinda nice as it will work with lots of different patterns as it's light coloured. But then again it looks almost white. The blue one is really nice though :)

I got damn nice mail today (and yesterday too) but I also bought the newest Maxxina today. It didn't have as many must stitch-patterns this time, but some nice ones, still.

Oh and my amazing fiancé sent me two magaznes, too! I didn't expect these as I didn't know he had sent them to me <3 I was really happy to get them as we don't have these magazines here in Finland and I do like the Queen :))

I actually started to stitch some Jubilee stitching but as I have problems with my back every now and then (a lot sometimes) I can't always stitch as much as I want or not at all :/ meh..

I am not gonna buy anything else this month! Cause I also bought this today.. *giggles*

Fitfh season of Bones! I haven't seen it yet so I am really excited. I miss Booth and Brennan already, it's been ages since I saw season 4.

I am gonna watch an episode of Bones now, or maybe even two. After that I need to cook and hopefully, I could do some stitching today too! My back feels a bit better now. I also need to go out to have a walk today, my back loves it :)

Witchy progress

I've finally done some stitchin after weeeeeeks break! Yay! :) Not much though but at least little something. I stitched Joan Elliott's Witch which I started to stitch during CJC on January.


Yesterday I also received my two fabric from Sparklies. Here's a picture of them. They look a litte darker in the picture than what they are in real. Yet, I like them both a lot. The green one is 9x13 and the flesh colour is 18x27. I'm gonna stitch a Joan Elliott's "may all your weeds be wildflowers" on the green one.

New stash!

Finally on my birthday I received the kit which I ordered on February. It t0ok over a month to get it, however I'm glad I eventually got it on my hands. I saw that kit somewhere couple years ago and since then I've wanted to have it. So here it is, "Little kisses" by JCA.



I also got nice hand dyed fabrics! On my last post I mentioned Sparklies and I was waiting for my order from her. Here's a pic of the two amazing fabrics that I got. Both are Lugana, green one (Sunlit forest) is 32ct and yellow (Lemon and lime) is 28ct. Both looked quite a lot different than in pictures, but I know how difficult it is to take a picture of hand dyed fabrics, so I don't mind they don't look exactly the same. Plus I really love lemon and lime colours, so it's better it's not as light coloured as on the website! Sunlit forest looked more blueish on the website and I wish it would be more blue. Still, I like the green too :)



I joined Silkweaver's FOTM (fabric of the month) again after few years. I received my first package last week. I chose to receive 28ct Lugana only. Size will always be 18x27. My first fabric was Days gone by. It's a really beautiful fabric and I failed to take a good picture of it. But here it is. It's not as dark as it seems to be in the pic. It's more like light sand with some with on it. Now it looks a bit grey which it isn't.



Now I'm waiting for a parcel from Sparklies again. LOL, yes! I won two piece of fabric from her Easter sale on Facebook. Hopefully I'll get them this week. Exciting!

waiting, waiting ...

No stitching lately. Oh wait, I did stitch a bit! I started to stitch a little fox-kit that came free with the newest Cross Stitcher. I have no pic of that as it's really small area that I managed to stitch.

I ordered some hand dyed fabric yesterday! I was planning to wait for couple weeks for it to arrive but today already I got a note that it's ready to ship! huh.. that's damn fast :)) Where did I order it from? Well, I have never ordered from her before this, so I can't say how the fabric is like but the service is damn great! I emailed to her a while ago and she replied really quick. So.. I think I dare to say that Sparklies is the place to go! :)) I'll take pics of the fabrics as soon as I have them, ofc.

I'm also waiting a kit to arrive and a magazine, too. "Cross stitch and needlework" magazine should have arrived already as it was posted about a month ago. I left a comment about it on their FB page and if I don't get it this week, I'll just send them email directly.

And the kit.. ugh, it just makes me a bit annoyed. I ordered it from a place that I have used once before, ages ago. I can't remember how quick they were back then. I orderd the kit last month and my credit card was charged 20th Feb. It's 27th March now and nothing so far.. They did say on their website that it might take up to 21 days to get the goodies and since I don't like in UK, I thought it might take longer. BUT what annoys me the most is that my card was charged over a month ago. It's just.. can't they charged it when they are actually ready to ship the item, rather than few days after ordering and a month before shipping? :P Again, if I am not getting it this week, I'll be sending an email asking about it.

What else.. ooh.. I have a birthday this week!! EEEEEK! I'm gonna be 30 on thursday! No panic attack though, I had an agecrisis when I had my 27th birthday lol. But it's still kinda weird. 30 years old. Just yesterday I was 19! huh.. time goes fast..

I think I'll do some stithcing now, maybe I'll stitch the little New Year's Fairy by Nora Corbett..? :)
